Parent & Camper FAQs:

How many campers & counselors are in each "Cabin" group?

Approximately 8 campers and 2 counselors

What does lake time look like?

Your child will always be at the lake with both Counselors and Camp's trained life guards. Jr. Campers will all take a "swim test" to determine which section of the lakefront they are allowed to swim in (Beginner, Intermediate, & Swimmer). Life vests are available for swimming and required during boating and the Blob.

What does a day at Camp look like?

Singing, crafts, games, great food, cabin time, swimming, boating, archery, pickleball, incredible Bible stories, & lots of laughter & fun!

Can I send mail to my child?

Yes! It's so fun! Letters are great and small packages that include treats, but please do not send money. All money should be turned in at check in.

Camp McCullough c/o Camper Name 20665 SE 264th St. Covington, WA 98042

Better yet, bring your letters to drop-off at FPC and avoid stamps and late mail. We'll have a "mail box" at the check-in table. You can even write "Monday" or "Tuesday" on the envelope and we'll deliver the letter on the date you desire. Easy!

Do you have a Facebook Page?

Yep! We post pictures almost every day and sometimes even a video! Our Facebook page is "FPC Kids' Ministry" for Elementary kids and "First Pres. Youth Group" for Middle & High School kids. It's a "private" page so please request to join soon and we'll get you in!

What's this I hear about a Camp Store??

The rumors are true! We have a fun little store with candy, pop, a few healthy snacks & souvenirs. Your camper can bring money to "check in" and it will be put into the "Bank of Camp McCullough." We'll return change to you at the end of the week. Pop, candy & snacks are $1/each (one pop & candy per day limit). Camp souvenirs, such as stuffed animals, are approximately $5-$20. Every Elementary child goes home with a FREE Camp t-shirt on Saturday!
